The H series, stackable video capture boards provide superb digital video surveillance solutions from 4 camera 30 fps (frame per second) up to 16 camera 240 fps systems. Available with up to 16 ports, the H series can provide real-time video recording and playback. Digitally recorded video is optimally compressed yet retains excellent image quality. The H Series supports traditional alarm input and output devices, allows control of PTZ cameras, and features remote monitoring, remote recording and viewing by multiple clients simultaneously. Its advanced motion detection feature avoids false alarms through noise reduction, and provides several methods to notify about intrusions or abnormal situations, instantly. Its complete multi-level password access control and audit log ensure a true secured environment. A word of caution: There can be major incompatibilities between video capture boards, their chipsets and/or drivers and the chipsets on computer motherboards. SPECIFICALLY, most video capture cards will only work on INTEL CHIPSET motherboards. Additionally, for best performance, an INTEL CPU is required. In other words, not all computers are suitable - even extremely powerful and new systems.

Features

Video Resolution Camera images can be displayed and recorded in a choice of 640x480, 640 x 240 or 320x240 pixels. Video Quality can be controlled as can resolution and Frames per Second Record, on EACH INDIVIDUAL Camera within the System. System Supports MPEG4 compression for the BEST quality available on the market today.

Virtual Keyboard System comes with a Virtual Keyboard, you can now ELIMINATE a Hardware Keyboard from your system, just use your mouse. Perfect for remote server functions.

Display Live AND Recorded video can be displayed in single camera, full screen format, or in 4, 8, 16 or 32 Camera Views. By Stacking TWO boards together, you can achieve 32 Camera Functionality.

Motion Detection When motion is detected in a camera field in an unmasked area, recording commences. Recordings are made in video clips which are date and time stamped in a log file. Log files can be stored locally or remotely over a network. We have found the motion detection sensitivity of the software to be one of the best available. On Event, system can be programmed to jump to full screen.

Mask Function Areas of camera fields where motion is to be ignored can be user defined (masked), for each camera. Multiple mask areas per camera are permitted. Areas inside a mask can be cleared. Masking color can be edited.

Digital Watermarking Digital watermarking can be selected for recordings. Any recorded video exported from the original hard drive recordings are thus ensured to be unedited. This is a particularly important point when video is to be used as evidence in court.

Recording Playback The log files of recorded video clips can be sorted and accessed by year/date/time. Video recordings can be played back while current recording is taking place (recording speeds will slow down). Recordings can be zoomed in/out and moved around the viewing area, on playback. Recordings can be played back at normal speeds, higher speeds, slower speeds or frame by frame. Recordings can be played back by individual camera or all cameras at a time. Switching from multi-camera to single-camera playback is as simple as clicking on a particular camera window while playback is operational. Additional editing features are provided for image sharpening, exporting, adjusting brightness/contrast and printing. Now you can playback at speeds of up to 32X. There is a calendar, day-date with graphical interface for easy indexing and searching.

Communications Remote communication is supported by dial-up server, web-cam server, TCP/IP server and multicast server. All can be turned on or off with just one mouse click. Compression of transmitted images can be set from remote systems as MPEG4 or MJPEG, independent of recording compression of the host system. MPEG4 will provide much faster transmission. New Webcam software allows up to 32 cameras to be viewed on one screen. Remote communications with Win CE equipped PDAs supported.

Alarm Notification A notification of motion detection and recording can be immediately sent to a computer.

Storage Capacity As available disk space runs out, the system will overwrite the video clips with the earliest dates. Recording can be specified for any single hard drive or for multiple drives.

Client Application The BEST NEWS is you can NOW RECORD REMOTELY, in full frame rate, all or one of your cameras from the client application. It's as easy as a mouse click. Also features full PSTN support.

Multi Level User Management Now you can set up and control who has access to what, from the local DVR to the Client.

Composite Signal Each Card has a composite OUT to a standard CCTV or TV Monitor.

Pan Tilt Zoom BOTH the Server and Client applications (including the webserver) can be given full control of all attached PTZ cameras. Each camera can be user managed right in the software.
